Bellmann processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself.

  • Data about your activity on our website

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16 years old. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent.

If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without permission, please contact us at post@bellmann.nl, and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

Bellmann processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
  • To be able to call or email you if necessary to perform our services
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • Bellmann also processes personal data when we are legally obliged to do so, such as data necessary for our tax return.

Automated decision-making

Bellmann makes decisions based on automated processing that can have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems, without human intervention (such as a Bellmann employee). Bellmann uses the following computer programs or systems:

  • Web Application Firewall and Brute Force Detection. This system aims to recognize external attacks and block requests to specific websites from one or more locations.

Storing personal data

Bellmann does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Bellmann only provides personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with legislation.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Bellmann uses functional cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. Bellmann uses cookies only for technical reasons. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to ensure the website works properly and to optimize it.

Viewing or deleting data

You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. You can do this yourself through the personal settings of your account. Additionally, you have the right to revoke any consent you may have given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company. If you wish to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability, or if you have any other questions or comments about data processing, please send a specific request to post@bellmann.nl. To ensure that the request has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) for the protection of your privacy.

Bellmann will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within four weeks. Bellmann also wants to inform you that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). You can do this directly with them.

How we protect your personal data

Bellmann takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized alteration. If you believe that your data is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service at post@bellmann.nl.
